About the Role

The HVAC Service Technician - Residential is a key team member responsible for diagnosing, repairing, and maintaining HVAC systems or equipment in residential settings. The role requires technical expertise, strong problem-solving skills, and a commitment to excellent customer service.

Responsibilities

  • Troubleshoot and diagnose a variety of service issues.
  • Perform repairs, part replacements, and system maintenance.
  • Manage materials, schedules, and ensure quality work.
  • Communicate effectively with customers and team members.
  • Document work performed and report recurring issues to management.
  • Be available for on-call and overtime work as needed.
  • Follow all applicable safety guidelines and regulations.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Relevant experience in service work.
  • High school diploma or GED.
  • Valid driver’s license.
  • Preferred: Certifications or licenses relevant to the HVAC trade.

Physical Demands

  • Must be able to stand, walk, bend, squat, sit, and lift for extended periods.
  • Must be able to lift, carry, and move up to 50 lbs.
  • Must be able to work in all weather conditions (heat, rain, cold, wind) while wearing appropriate PPE.

Schedule

Standard work schedule: Monday - Friday, 7:00 AM - 4:00 PM. Must be willing to be flexible as job demands may change.

Must be able to pass a pre-employment drug screen and background check.
