Key Responsibilities
- Diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical, refrigeration, and controls issues and developing practical solutions
- Performing preventive maintenance to enhance equipment reliability and efficiency
- Providing technical guidance and troubleshooting support to less-experienced technicians
- Maintaining accurate documentation of service calls, repairs, and resolutions
- Communicating clearly with customers, dispatch, and team members
- Traveling to customer sites, ensuring safety, and managing work areas and equipment
- Participating in emergency on-call rotations and ongoing technical training
Qualifications
- Five or more years of commercial or industrial HVAC experience
- Strong knowledge of HVAC, electrical, mechanical, refrigeration, and controls systems
- Ability to diagnose and resolve complex equipment issues
- Excellent communication, judgment, and dependability
- Universal EPA Section 608 certification and valid Kentucky Journeyman HVAC license
- Completion of accredited HVAC trade school and a high school diploma or equivalent
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
