HVAC SERVICE TECHNICIAN

Duties

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems, including air conditioning units and heating systems.
• Diagnose issues with HVAC equipment and perform necessary repairs or replacements.
• Conduct routine inspections of HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Collaborate with team members to design efficient HVAC solutions for various environments.
• Utilize mechanical knowledge to troubleshoot and resolve issues related to refrigeration and boiling systems.
• Drive company vehicles to job sites as needed, ensuring safe transport of tools and equipment.
• Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used during service calls.
• Provide excellent customer service by communicating effectively with clients regarding their HVAC needs.

Requirements

• 5+ years of experience as an HVAC Technician or in a similar field service role.
• Managerial mindset willing to develop a service department from the ground up.
• Strong mechanical knowledge related to HVAC systems, including the ability to plumb, refrigerate, and boil as necessary.
• Familiarity with installation techniques for air conditioning and heating units.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team in various settings.
• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record for operating company vehicles.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
• Certification or relevant training in HVAC technology is preferred but not mandatory.
