HVAC Service Technician

Residential HVAC Service Technician – $33–$38/hr + incentives, $80K–$100K+ potential. Full‑time position in Murray / Sandy, UT with a locally owned, veteran‑owned One Hour Heating & Air Conditioning franchise.

Year‑round work with heating in winter, cooling in summer, and maintenance memberships in between. No seasonal layoffs.

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair residential HVAC systems.
• Diagnose malfunctions and determine the extent of necessary repairs.
• Give homeowners honest recommendations and never oversell.
• Keep a neat work area and inspect it after every job.
• Wear floor savers in the client’s home.
• Maintain a clean, stocked company vehicle.
• Drive and work safely every day.

Requirements

• 3+ years residential HVAC service experience (service, not install only).
• EPA Section 608 Universal Certification (NATE preferred).
• Strong troubleshooting and repair skills.
• Strong communication and customer‑service skills.
• Ability to lift 50 lb and possess basic tools.
• Clean driving record.

Compensation

Hourly rate $33.00–$38.00 plus performance incentives. Strong performers can earn $80,000–$100,000+ annually.
