HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Service, maintain, and repair HVAC systems including air conditioning units and other related equipment.
• Troubleshoot and diagnose issues using various tools and diagnostic equipment.
• Conduct routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Respond to residential service calls and perform thorough diagnostics on HVAC issues.
• Explain problems, repair options and recommendations clearly to homeowners including cost estimates and proposals.
• Adhere to all safety protocols, local codes and maintain a clean work environment.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of hands-on experience in residential HVAC service preferred.
• Strong knowledge of air conditioning and heating systems.
• Problem-solving skills with the ability to work independently.
• Excellent communication skills to interact effectively with clients and team members.

Pay

• The starting rate for this opportunity ranges from $65K-$150K/annually.
• The actual base pay is dependent upon many factors, such as training, transferable skills, work experience, business needs, and market demands.
