HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Hearn Plumbing, Heating, & Air of Madison, OH is seeking HVAC Service & Maintenance Technicians to represent the company while visiting Madison, Ohio clients to service, repair, and propose HVAC equipment replacements in accordance with manufacturer recommendations and local codes.

Responsibilities

• Perform HVAC system service and repair
• Propose HVAC equipment replacements to clients
• Ensure work follows manufacturer recommendations and local codes
• Represent Hearn Plumbing, Heating, & Air during client visits

Requirements

• Valid driver's license with a clean driving record
• Ability to pass a background check and drug test
• Basic understanding of math/arithmetic
• Flexible schedule

Qualifications

• Good attitude and willingness to learn and be coached/mentored
• Customer‑service focused with experience interacting with people (phone or in‑person)
• Takes pride in work
• Good communication skills (written and verbal)

Skills

• Interest in sales/selling
• Mechanically inclined
• Positive attitude and solid work ethic
• Prior sales experience (not required)
• Previous HVAC technician experience (huge plus)
• Prior trade school and/or EPA Universal certification (plus)
