HVAC Service Technician

As a Residential HVAC Service Technician Professional, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional service while enjoying a healthy work-life balance with no on-call duties or scheduled weekends.
Responsibilities
- Perform repairs and maintenance on HVAC equipment, including refrigeration, air conditioning, electric motors, heating units, heat pumps, compressors, light commercial furnaces, burners, intake and exhaust fans, economizers, and humidifiers.
- Flex into HVAC installations during periods of high customer demand.
- Check in with the office for scheduled jobs after each task and at the end of each workday.
- Complete all company-required documentation during or at the end of each task.
- Manage time effectively for daily scheduled jobs.
- Communicate with clients at the beginning and end of each task to ensure transparency.
- Ensure all materials used are properly listed on company-provided forms.
- Maintain clear communication with the office dispatcher and/or field supervisor.
- Educate customers about services and maintain confidence throughout the visit.
- Share knowledge and experiences with coworkers to foster a learning environment.
- Suggest process improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness.
- Maintain a clean and organized workspace, both at customer properties and in the company vehicle.
Requirements
- Minimum of 3+ years of residential HVAC service experience.
- Light commercial experience highly preferred.
- EPA certification required.
- Good background and driving record.
- Commitment to safety as the primary job responsibility, with knowledge of OSHA requirements.
Physical Demands/Working Conditions
This role requires regular physical activity, including sitting, standing, walking, kneeling, squatting, stooping, and lifting/moving up to 50 lbs. Employees must work in various environments, including hot, cold, and small crawl spaces, and be able to climb ladders. The work environment involves continual interruptions and changing priorities, with a need for consistent communication.
