HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Greens Energy Services is looking to add an Experienced HVAC Service Technician to our award-winning team based in Orlando. You will clean, repair, and offer system enhancements to clients’ heating and air conditioning systems.

Responsibilities

• Perform full system diagnosis and repairs as needed
• Perform routine preventative maintenance
• Communicate effectively with clients
• Work overtime and weekends as needed
• Participate in on-call rotation schedule
• Respond to emergency service requests
• Adhere to all safety policies and procedures
• Perform major repairs following required procedures
• Understand proper refrigerant charging methods
• Understand duct work, diagnose air flow problems, and share proper solutions
• Learn and understand basic iPad navigation

Requirements

• High school education required
• 3+ years field experience as an HVAC service technician required
• NATE Certification, EPA Certification, and HVAC trade school
• Clean driving record and pass a pre-employment drug screening
• Must have your own tools – including hand tools, meters, torches, gauges, pumps
• Detail oriented and understand the importance of documentation
• Must understand IAQ products features and benefits
• Must understand OSHA safety programs
• Ability to handle physical workload
• Strong problem solving and critical thinking skills
