Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on HVAC and industrial equipment.
- Assemble, install, start up, and test new equipment at customer sites.
- Diagnose issues using schematics, wiring diagrams, manuals, and standard test instruments.
- Provide on-site and in-field service, including emergency repairs when required.
- Prepare parts, rework kits, and shipments; manage local pick-ups and deliveries.
- Maintain accurate service records, equipment histories, trip reports, and expense submissions.
- Build professional relationships with customer personnel and communicate service findings clearly.

- Document and report on service activities as needed.
- Maintain clean, organized company vehicles and work areas.
- Follow all EST safety procedures, operating standards, and regulatory requirements.
Requirements
- EPA Refrigerant Handling Certification (Universal or Type III).
- Minimum 1 year of experience in HVAC, industrial maintenance, or related technical fields.
- Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, hydraulics, pneumatics, and electronic systems.
- Experience troubleshooting digital/analog circuitry and electric motors preferred.
- Proficiency with standard hand tools and test instruments.
- Strong customer service orientation and professional communication skills.
- Dependable, organized, self-motivated, and able to work under pressure.
- Computer skills, including Microsoft Office.
- Valid driver’s license with excellent driving record.
- Ability to lift 50 lbs routinely and up to 100 lbs occasionally.
- Ability to work in demanding physical environments including kneeling, bending, climbing, and exposure to noise or hazards.
