About the role
The HVAC Service Technician is responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems in commercial buildings. The role involves diagnosing issues, performing routine maintenance, and ensuring all systems operate efficiently.
Responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
- Perform preventive maintenance on HVAC systems to prevent breakdowns.
- Respond to emergency calls to fix HVAC issues promptly.
- Document work performed and communicate findings to clients.
- Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies.
Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent.
- Valid driver’s license and reliable vehicle.
- At least 2 years of experience in HVAC maintenance or related field.
- Knowledge of HVAC systems and troubleshooting techniques.
- Ability to work independently and under pressure.
Qualifications
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
- Good communication and customer service skills.
- Physical ability to lift up to 50 pounds and climb ladders.
- Experience with HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
Skills
- Proficient in HVAC system operation and maintenance.
- Skilled in reading blueprints and understanding technical diagrams.
- Familiarity with HVAC codes and regulations.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.

Pay
Salary range: $40,000 - $50,000 annually.
Schedule
