HVAC Service Technician
Responsibilities
- Perform maintenance and detailed troubleshooting of commercial HVAC equipment including Packaged TU’s, large split systems, VRF systems, cooling towers, air cooled chillers, Variable Frequency Drives, pumps & motors.
- Basic understanding, operation, and navigation of common Building Automation Systems (i.e. Trane, Honeywell, JCI etc.).
- Familiar with different manufacturers’ service software for VRF systems (i.e. Mitsubishi, Daikin, Sanyo, Toshiba, Fujitsu etc.).
- Self-motivated and able to work with limited guidance from management.
- Fill out service tickets and time sheets electronically (iPad) and send via email.
- Travel as necessary during peak seasons between Huntsville & Birmingham.
Requirements
- Minimum 5 years field service experience.
- Ability to pass full background screening and drug screening.
- Ability to pass MVR check.
- Ability to pass a physical ability test.
