HVAC Service Technician

Commercial HVAC Service Technician role in the Reno area with ColdTech Refrigeration, a leading commercial service provider across the Intermountain West supporting restaurants, grocery stores, convenience stores, schools, and industrial facilities.

Pay

• $40–$50 per hour (DOE)
• Weekly pay
• 100% paid drive time between service calls
• Paid from your front door to your first call of the day

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair commercial refrigeration and HVAC systems
• Service rack systems, walk-ins, reach-ins, ice machines, and self-contained units
• Perform preventative maintenance and emergency repairs
• Repair and maintain restaurant hot-side equipment (fryers, ovens, etc.)
• Communicate clearly with customers and document work performed
• Manage your service calls independently and efficiently

Requirements

• 4+ years of commercial HVAC/refrigeration service experience
• Strong troubleshooting skills
• Experience with rack systems preferred
• Restaurant hot-side experience a plus (training available)
• EPA Certification (Type II minimum required) and OSHA 10
• Valid driver’s license with good driving record
• Professional, customer-focused attitude
