Job Summary
Central Heating & Cooling is seeking a Residential HVAC Service Technician to join their team. The ideal candidate will have previous residential HVAC service experience, strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills, and a passion for helping homeowners.
What You'll Do
- Diagnose and repair residential air conditioning systems, gas and oil furnaces, boilers, zoning systems, hydronic systems, and other HVAC equipment.
- Perform annual maintenance and preventative service on residential heating and cooling systems.
- Educate homeowners on system operation, preventative maintenance, and energy-saving recommendations.
- Present repair and replacement options while identifying opportunities to recommend additional services, products, and maintenance plans.
- Accurately document service calls, repairs, and recommendations in ServiceTitan.
- Participate in the on-call rotation for after-hours and weekend emergency service.
- Deliver exceptional customer service while maintaining a professional appearance.
- Remain flexible and adaptable to changing schedules and business needs.
What We're Looking For
- Previous residential HVAC service experience required.
- Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
- Experience servicing air conditioners, gas and oil furnaces, boilers, zoning systems, and hydronic systems.
- Experience presenting repair and replacement options to homeowners.
- ServiceTitan experience preferred.
- Excellent communication and customer service skills.
- Strong organizational skills with the ability to prioritize multiple tasks.
- Ability to work safely on ladders and lift up to 50 pounds.
- Valid driver's license with a clean driving record.
