HVAC Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Perform maintenance, troubleshooting, and repairs on a wide variety of residential heating and air conditioning systems
• Deliver outstanding customer service and clear recommendations on every call
• Work independently while being fully supported by a strong team
• Provide feedback to the Service Manager on training needs, inventory, and pricing

Requirements

• Active Rhode Island Journeyman HVAC License (PJ2 and/or RJ2)
• Strong mechanical background and 5+ years of hands-on experience
• Clean, insurable driving record
• Ability to read wiring diagrams and blueprints
• Experience making repair vs. replace decisions
• Advanced customer service skills and willingness to take on leadership roles
• Knowledge of basic sheet metal practices and air balancing principles
• Universal EPA Certification
• Familiarity with major brands (American Standard, Trane, Rheem, Mitsubishi, Fujitsu, Ruud, Burnham, Honeywell, York, Ruud, Goodman, Carrier, Bryant, Amana, Lennox, etc.)

Pay

$35.00 - $45.00 per hour (depending on experience) + performance bonuses

Schedule

Monday - Friday, 8:00 AM - 5:00 PM (On-call rotation as needed - we keep it fair and manageable)
