HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for providing HVAC service and repair to residential and commercial clients. Duties include diagnosing issues, performing maintenance, and installing new systems.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair heating, ventilation, and air conditioning systems
• Maintain equipment and perform preventative maintenance
• Install new HVAC systems as needed
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and concerns
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to company policies

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation
• At least 2 years of related experience in HVAC or related field
• Ability to work flexible hours including evenings and weekends

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude
• Good problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and customer service skills
• Proficient in using common HVAC tools and diagnostic equipment

Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics
• Basic computer literacy
