HVAC Service Technician

About the role

Responsible for maintaining and repairing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in commercial and residential settings. Perform preventive maintenance, diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain preventative maintenance schedules for all systems.
• Communicate effectively with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of related experience in HVAC or related field.
• Ability to work flexible hours including weekends and evenings.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.

Skills

• Knowledge of HVAC systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and schematics.
• Basic electrical knowledge.
• Computer literacy, including Microsoft Office.

Pay
