HVAC Service Mechanic

About the role

Responsible for maintaining, repairing, and installing heating, ventilation, air conditioning, and refrigeration systems in residential and commercial buildings. Perform routine maintenance checks, diagnose issues, and perform repairs as needed.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and repair HVAC systems using diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Maintain and service HVAC systems to ensure optimal performance.
• Install new HVAC systems according to manufacturer specifications and local codes.
• Communicate with clients to understand their needs and provide solutions.
• Follow safety protocols and adhere to all industry standards.

Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.
• At least 2 years of experience in HVAC installation and maintenance.
• Knowledge of HVAC systems, including refrigeration, heating, and cooling.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.

Qualifications

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.
• Good communication and customer service skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds and work in various weather conditions.

Skills

• Proficient in using HVAC diagnostic tools and equipment.
• Familiarity with HVAC system components and operation.
• Knowledge of local building codes and regulations.

Pay

$20 - $25 per hour based on experience.

Schedule

Monday through Friday, 7:00 AM - 3:00 PM.
