HVAC Service Manager - Commercial

This role

The Service Manager will oversee and manage the commercial HVAC service department, responsible for scheduling, executing, billing, and completing service, warranty, and emergency jobs.

• Develops the department budget and is accountable for meeting revenue and gross margin targets.
• Communicates regularly with customers, vendors, suppliers, and technicians to execute plans and programs.
• Manages monthly financial performance analysis, reporting results to management, and taking corrective action as needed.
• Manages assets efficiently, including inventory and company service vehicles.
• Builds a high-performance culture through annual performance reviews and development initiatives.
• Supervises, trains, and develops all branch HVAC service technicians.

Qualifications

• 4 or more years of experience leading and growing a commercial HVAC service department.
• Experience managing service scheduling, billing, and warranty/emergency job completion.
• Experience developing budgets and managing revenue and gross margin targets.
• Experience with financial performance reporting and analysis.
• Experience supervising, training, and developing HVAC service technicians.

Preferred Qualifications

• 5 or more years of commercial HVAC service department leadership experience.
• Experience with asset management, including service vehicle and inventory oversight.
• Familiarity with ASHRAE standards and MEP systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Compensation: $125,000 to $175,000 per year, plus bonus.
