About the Opportunity

We’re partnering with a well-established HVAC, heating, and home services company that is looking for an experienced HVAC Service Manager to lead field service operations, coach technicians, improve scheduling efficiency, and make sure customers receive high-quality service. This is a strong fit for someone who has been a lead technician, service supervisor, assistant service manager, or service manager and is ready to take ownership of a service team. The right person will bring strong HVAC technical knowledge, oil heat experience, people leadership, customer-service skills, and the ability to keep a busy service department running smoothly.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Lead and support a team of HVAC service technicians, dispatch, and service administration staff.
  • Coach technicians, monitor performance, and provide clear feedback.
  • Conduct service meetings, ride-alongs, and job site visits.
  • Help improve scheduling, dispatch efficiency, and daily service execution.
  • Handle customer escalations with professionalism and urgency.
  • Support technician safety, PPE compliance, accident reporting, tools, and vehicle standards.
  • Review service quality, recommend process improvements, and reduce unnecessary costs.
  • Assist with service calls during peak demand when needed.
  • Serve as a technical resource for the team.
  • Complete performance reviews and help develop team members.

What They’re Looking For

  • 5+ years of HVAC technical experience.
  • 3+ years of management or supervisory experience.
  • Experience leading at least 5+ field service employees.
  • Valid driver’s license with a clean driving record.
  • MA, CT, or RI Oil Burner, Pipefitter, Plumbing License, or equivalent license required.
  • Strong HVAC troubleshooting, service, and customer-resolution skills.
  • Comfortable using computers for service reporting, scheduling, documentation, and communication.
  • Strong leadership, organization, communication, and problem-solving ability.
  • Professional, punctual, flexible, and able to perform well in a fast-paced service environment.

Pay

Up to $120,000 salary plus bonus.
