HVAC Branch Service Manager

About the role

As an HVAC Branch Service Manager, you will own the day-to-day service business processes and team management to ensure customer satisfaction and financial objectives are met. This includes implementation and adherence to business processes and service applications, driving proficiency and performance of branch support staff.

Responsibilities

• Own the day-to-day tactical local service business, ensuring high customer satisfaction and positive business results through defined business processes.
• Work with Truck Based Service Managers and Customer Service Representatives to meet financial objectives by accurately forecasting, analyzing, and driving business processes across all service lines.
• Directly supervise the service business support team, including account management support, asset management, invoicing, file maintenance, and service order posting.
• Provide coaching and support to branch service teams in managing business processes through best practices and service applications.
• Drive service business processes and applications as the subject matter expert, ensuring training, communication, and reinforcement of standards.
• Implement and maintain delivery standards aligned with BSNA objectives for sustainable, profitable growth through effective work execution.
• Perform additional duties related to customer satisfaction, strategy actualization, service team business plans, and account management.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years’ service industry experience managing service operations and/or service dispatch/scheduling.
• Ability to work independently with strong organizational and attention-to-detail skills.
• Strong interpersonal skills for effective communication with internal and external clients.
• Ability to handle multiple projects, tasks, and issues simultaneously with tact and persistence.
• Skill in prioritizing work activities based on financial impact and business goals.
• Demonstrated competence in written and verbal communication.
• Experience or understanding of basic project accounting or costing principles.
• Ability to positively represent Johnson Controls and communicate at varying levels.
• Proven ability to influence diverse teams to accomplish tasks and goals.

Pay

Hiring salary range: $120,000–$160,000 (determined by education, experience, knowledge, skills, internal equity, and market alignment). This role includes a competitive bonus plan based on individual, group, and corporate performance.
