HVAC Service Apprentice

About the role

Lloyd Plumbing, Heating, Air, Electrical is seeking HVAC Service Apprentices for its Montpelier, VT location. Whether you have prior experience or are entry‑level, you’ll join a team that values each individual, invests in your future, and offers a supportive, family‑like atmosphere.

Key Responsibilities

• Assist the lead service technician with diagnosing and repairing heating and cooling systems, including furnaces, boilers, and heat pumps.
• Help troubleshoot mechanical issues.
• Perform preventative maintenance.
• Maintain tools, equipment, and company vehicles.

Skills/Qualifications

• 1–3 years of prior experience as an HVAC Apprentice (preferred but not required).
• Strong work ethic and willingness to learn.
• Ability to follow instructions and work as part of a team.
• Courteous, respectful, and pleasant demeanor with customers.
• Physical ability to lift heavy objects, climb ladders, and work in various environments and weather conditions.
• Valid driver’s license.
