HVAC Senior Technician

Christman Facility Solutions is a company with projects across the Metro Dallas region, offering opportunities for career growth. They are currently seeking an HVAC Senior Technician in their Mesquite, Texas area.

Responsibilities

• Installs, maintains, and repairs commercial HVAC systems, including rooftop units, chillers, boilers, and packaged systems.
• Performs preventative maintenance tasks on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and longevity.
• Diagnostics and troubleshoots complex HVAC system malfunctions, including electrical, mechanical, and refrigeration issues.
• Cleans thorough inspections of HVAC systems to identify deficiencies, inefficiencies, and potential areas for improvement.
• Provides detailed repair estimates and recommendations to commercial clients, and communicates effectively to ensure customer satisfaction.
• Covers building managers, facility owners, and other stakeholders to schedule service appointments and minimize disruptions to operations.
• Keeps accurate records of all service calls, including parts used, labor hours, and equipment history.
• Stays current on industry standards, codes, regulations, and emerging technologies related to commercial HVAC systems.
• Adheres to safety protocols and best practices at all times, including proper use of personal protective equipment (PPE) and adherence to OSHA guidelines.

Requirements

• Minimum of 5 years of experience working as a Commercial HVAC Service Technician or equivalent position providing similar work experience.
• Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
• EPA certification for handling refrigerants (e.g., Universal Certification).
• Advanced knowledge of commercial HVAC systems, including controls, refrigeration circuits, and mechanical components.
• Proficiency in troubleshooting complex HVAC issues and implementing effective solutions.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to interact professionally with clients and team members.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Ability to lift and maneuver heavy equipment and work in various environments, including rooftops and mechanical rooms.
