About the role
Jake’s is hiring a Senior HVAC Service Technician with 5+ years of hands-on service experience. If you’re a skilled troubleshooter who takes pride in quality repairs and excellent customer service, we want to hear from you!
Responsibilities
- Independently diagnose and repair residential HVAC systems, including air conditioners, heat pumps, and furnaces.
- Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and refrigerant issues.
- Perform preventive maintenance and clearly explain findings and repair options to customers.
- Complete accurate service notes and document parts used.
- Support less experienced technicians with troubleshooting and technical guidance.
- Maintain an organized service vehicle and follow safe work practices.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of HVAC service and repair experience required.
- Strong diagnostic skills and the ability to work independently.
- EPA Section 608 certification.
- Ability to read wiring diagrams and use HVAC diagnostic tools.
- Professional communication, dependable attendance, and a customer-focused approach.
- Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
- ServiceTitan experience preferred.
Pay
$27–$33 per hour, based on experience. Commission opportunities.
