About the role

As an HVAC Selling Technician, you will diagnose, repair, and recommend upgrades for residential HVAC systems while identifying opportunities to sell new systems during service calls. This role combines technical expertise with sales to deliver exceptional customer experiences and drive long-term trust.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential HVAC systems efficiently and effectively
• Identify opportunities where a system replacement is in the homeowner’s best interest
• Educate customers on their options, providing honest and professional recommendations
• Sell new systems on the spot when appropriate, ensuring homeowners receive the best solutions for their comfort needs
• Deliver an exceptional customer experience that builds long-term trust

Requirements

• 2+ years in residential HVAC service, repair, or sales
• Strong technical skills with the ability to diagnose and repair a wide range of HVAC issues
• Sales-driven mindset with confidence in recommending and selling new systems during service calls
• Excellent communication skills to explain technical issues in a way homeowners understand
• EPA certification (NATE certification is a plus)
• A positive, customer-focused attitude

Pay

Earn industry-leading pay averaging $150,000 to $250,000 per year, with hourly wages plus commission.
