Pay
- Competitive pay from $30–$50 hourly, depending on experience
- Sign-on bonus up to $5,000 (for candidates with a Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license)

Responsibilities
- Assist in the repair and overhaul of refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment to meet customer needs efficiently and on time
- Repair and overhaul equipment such as compressors, water pumps, air handlers, and electrical/mechanical control devices safely and promptly
- Perform general repair work on refrigeration, heating, and ventilation equipment, including air conditioning units, evaporative condensers, ice machines, water pumps, gas furnaces, compressors, and electric motors
- Conduct preventative maintenance by diagnosing equipment malfunctions and operating deficiencies to ensure quality performance
- Test malfunctioning systems and components using electrical and/or mechanical skills
- Maintain legible corporate and personal records of work history
- Process job tickets and work orders promptly
- Pick up, deliver, and install cases as needed
- Perform minor construction and remodeling projects, including startups of new installations
- Drive company vehicle safely
- Perform other related duties and projects as assigned by management
(Massachusetts Refrigeration Technician license required)
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED
- EPA certification
- Certification from an accredited vocational-technical or trade school (a plus)
- Minimum 5+ years of commercial refrigeration experience
- Experience working on refrigeration equipment in convenience stores or supermarkets (a strong plus)
- Familiarity with single systems, rack systems, display cases, and walk-in boxes
- Good driving record and ability to work independently
- Emergency on-call availability
- Ability to lift up to 60 lbs. without assistance
- Ability to sit and/or stand for several hours at a time
