HVAC/R Service Technician

Responsibilities

• Diagnose issues—not just swap parts
• Understand how systems actually work (not just what the manual says)
• Take ownership of your jobs and your customers
• Don’t cut corners, and don’t make excuses
• Handle complex diagnostics independently
• Work on large/critical systems in industrial environments
• Mentor and support less experienced technicians
• Perform preventative maintenance and system inspections
• Handle installs, startups, and system commissioning
• Communicate clearly with customers on issues, repairs, and recommendations
• Document work accurately (notes, photos, parts, quotes)
• Participate in an on-call rotation
• Represent the company professionally on every job

Requirements

• EPA 608 Certification (required)
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to read schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals
• Strong troubleshooting skills (electrical, refrigeration, airflow, controls)
• Comfort working independently in the field
• Willingness to be part of an on-call rotation
• Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Qualifications

• 5+ years commercial/industrial HVAC/R experience
• Strong experience with complex systems (chillers, boilers, low temp refrigeration, etc.)
• Proven ability to diagnose and solve problems without trial-and-error

Pay

The pay range for this role is $35 - $50 per hour in Hamilton Ct, AZ.
