HVAC&R Project Manager

Vixxo is seeking a full-time Project Manager for our HVAC&R projects.

About the role

As an HVAC&R Project Manager, you will manage national refrigeration replacement projects for retail clients from inception to completion, ensuring projects are on time and on budget. You will produce estimates, generate purchase orders through provided systems, select vendors, and ensure gross margins are met on each job. You will maintain schedules and provide timely reports to the Senior Project Manager and/or VP of Projects upon request.

Responsibilities

• Organize, implement, orchestrate, measure, analyze, report, and complete various project scopes of work on time, on budget, and on task.
• Act as the nucleus of the company to ensure everything is completed per the project scope of work.
• Serve as the company spokesperson with the client and work directly with them to determine their needs.
• Review company processes and adapt where necessary to best fit the client’s needs.
• Interact with Service Center staff to ensure client needs are met.
• Perform change management activities.
• Act as the primary troubleshooter to address and tackle a multitude of problems as they arise or are requested by the client or stakeholders.

Requirements

• Three (3) to five (5) years of project management experience; strong HVAC and refrigeration technical experience is a plus.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• High attention to detail and quality of work, with the ability to manage multiple projects and change orders simultaneously.
• Strong organizational skills and ability to coordinate internal and external resources and/or third parties/vendors for flawless project execution.
• Strong relationship and communication skills to work with all levels of management, including franchisees and stakeholders from different practice groups.
• Ability to communicate project scope to stakeholders from field technicians to senior management and achieve consistent results.
• Working knowledge of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and Excel (including data filtering).
• Sense of urgency to operate in a fast-paced, changing environment while moving multiple priorities forward.
