Responsibilities

• Read and interpret schematics.
• Install air conditioning/refrigeration systems and related equipment (e.g., unit heaters, pumps, safety controls) to provide facility comfort.
• Perform ductwork, welding, pipe fitting, HVAC equipment installation, roof stands, and curbs.
• Operate a marked company vehicle responsibly and professionally.
• Direct other workers to ensure assignments are completed safely, properly, and on time.
• Maintain tools, supplies, and equipment (e.g., torches, cutters, drills, test equipment, sheet metal, filters, control components) to ensure availability and safe operation.

Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum 5 years of experience as an air conditioning technician.
• Minimum 18 years of age.
• Valid driver’s license and insurable driving record.
• Comfortable climbing ladders up to 30 ft tall.
• Ability to lift 100+ lbs.
• Pass pre-employment drug and agility tests.
• Eligible to drive company vehicles.
