About the Role

We are seeking a skilled and experienced Operations and Maintenance Specialist to join our team at the newly constructed electric vehicle battery manufacturing plant. This is a performance-based, 12-year, O&M contract providing hard services of MEP equipment within the facility, excluding the manufacturing and production equipment.

Responsibilities

• Install, maintain, and repair HVAC systems in accordance with building codes and manufacturer specifications.
• Perform routine inspections and preventive maintenance on HVAC equipment to ensure optimal performance and energy efficiency.
• Diagnose and troubleshoot HVAC system malfunctions, identifying root causes and implementing effective solutions.
• Repair or replace defective parts, components, or systems using hand and power tools.
• Conduct performance tests and adjustments on HVAC systems to meet specified requirements.
• Keep accurate records of maintenance and repair activities, including parts used, labor hours, and work performed.
• Collaborate with other team members and contractors to ensure timely completion of projects.
• Stay updated on industry advancements, regulations, and best practices through ongoing training and professional development.
• Always adhere to safety protocols and company policies and procedures.
• Provide exceptional customer service, addressing client concerns and resolving issues professionally.

Requirements

• A high school diploma or equivalent.
• A valid HVAC Mechanical Journeymen license.
• Proven experience as an HVAC Mechanical Journeymen or in a similar role.
• Strong knowledge of HVAC systems, including installation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
• Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical manuals, blueprints, and schematics.
• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to work with precision.
• Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment.
• A valid driver's license and reliable transportation.
• Flexibility to work on-call or during emergencies, as required.

Preferred Requirements

• Additional qualifications such as advanced certifications or specialized skills may be considered favorably.

Pay

Hiring hourly range: $26-35 (Hourly rate to be determined by the education, experience, knowledge, skills, and abilities of the applicant, internal equity, and alignment with market data.)
