About the Role

Under the direction of the Manager, works independently in the performance of skilled, complex work in the repair, maintenance, and installation of heating, ventilation, and air conditioning equipment and systems. Serves as a resource to staff in the area of HVAC and building automation system education.

Responsibilities

  • Performs Fire Damper documentation per CMS.
  • Creates and maintains proper documentation.
  • Completes work orders pertaining to Life Safety, Environment of Care, Safety, and Patients.
  • Completes Preventative Maintenance Work Orders.
  • Coordinates projects and work orders.
  • Trains and mentors staff.
  • Requisitions materials after conducting research for price and efficiency.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED required.
  • Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) Refrigerant Certification preferred.
  • Valid New Hampshire Driver’s license.
  • Driving record from Department of Motor Vehicles and proof of insurance coverage, which complies with organization and departmental Driving Policy.
  • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in HVAC preferred.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft Office, building automation, and internet software.
  • Knowledge and ability to interpret and apply local and national codes and standards.

  • The noise level in the work environment is usually loud.
