Production Technician Laborer - Dairy

About the role

This role helps to foster self-reliance, care for the poor and the needy, and provide opportunities for giving and service by:

  • helping members become economically and emotionally self-reliant;
  • providing access to essential food and clothing items;
  • helping members prepare for and respond to disasters;
  • providing humanitarian aid to relieve suffering.

Responsibilities

  • 60% Provide assistance on packaging lines to meet production plan
  • 20% Provide assistance in maintaining sanitation and safety standards of the facility
  • 10% Assists in preparing packaging lines for daily production runs to ensure GMP and quality control standards are met
  • 10% Will receive special assignments from the supervisor to do general tasks

Qualifications

  • Able to learn principles of Good Manufacturing Processes (GMP) and quality control standards.
  • Must display required interpersonal skills that reflect Welfare Services policies, and the image of the Church.
  • Physically capable of heavy lifting (up to 50 lbs), climbing, bending, kneeling, stooping, and standing in position for extended periods of time.
