About the role

Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Dairy department is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician.

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
  • Communicate with operators and management team.
  • Ensure day-to-day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved.
  • Perform emergency maintenance as required.
  • Cook with vendors for necessary repairs.
  • Cook facilities and equipment on a regular basis.

Qualifications

  • 2 years automation experience and/or training.
  • Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices.
  • Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background.
  • Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
  • Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills.
  • Accurate/detail oriented.
  • Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.
  • Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks.
  • Ability to support and meet department deadlines.
  • Possess good problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals.
  • Good working knowledge of hand and power tools.
  • Mandatory welding experience.

Physical qualifications

  • Stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift;
  • Bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently;
  • Lift/carry 50 pounds frequently;
  • Lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.

Work Schedule

Overnight Premium: $2.00
8pm - 6am
Weekend Premium: $4.00
Friday 7:30pm - Monday 6:59am
40 hours/week consisting of a 10-hour shifts working Wednesday-Saturday 6pm-4am
