About the role
Kwik Trip, Inc.’s Dairy department is seeking an Electro-Mechanical Maintenance Technician.
Responsibilities
- Perform preventative maintenance procedures.
- Communicate with operators and management team.
- Ensure day-to-day productivity and operational efficiencies are achieved.
- Perform emergency maintenance as required.
- Cook with vendors for necessary repairs.
- Cook facilities and equipment on a regular basis.
Qualifications
- 2 years automation experience and/or training.
- Experience working with Allen-Bradley PLC’s and supporting control devices.
- Strong industrial electronic and mechanical background.
- Ability to work well alone and as part of a team.
- Strong interpersonal, written, and oral communications skills.
- Accurate/detail oriented.
- Willing to learn and perform a variety of job tasks.
- Ability to prioritize, delegate, and manage multiple tasks.
- Ability to support and meet department deadlines.
- Possess good problem-solving skills.
- Ability to read, understand and interpret schematics and manuals.
- Good working knowledge of hand and power tools.
- Mandatory welding experience.
Physical qualifications
- Stand/walk for up to 10 hours per shift;
- Bend/reach/twist and stoop/kneel/crouch frequently;
- Lift/carry 50 pounds frequently;
- Lift/carry up to 80 pounds occasionally.
Work Schedule
Overnight Premium: $2.00
8pm - 6am
Weekend Premium: $4.00
Friday 7:30pm - Monday 6:59am
40 hours/week consisting of a 10-hour shifts working Wednesday-Saturday 6pm-4am
