Lake Huron Medical Center is a 139-bed community hospital providing a wide range of inpatient and outpatient health care services to residents of St. Clair and Sanilac counties. Services include emergency care, primary stroke center, cancer care, surgical services, physical therapy and rehabilitation, pulmonary rehabilitation, and specialized diabetes programs. Responsibilities
- Maintains accurate logs on all equipment in the hospital and ensures a safe working environment.
- Maintains and repairs equipment, including mechanical, HVAC, electrical, plumbing, plant maintenance, and medical gas systems.
- Maintains the building and its related systems.
- Holds certification and/or licensure in a trade directly related to healthcare engineering.
Requirements
- Five (5) years of experience in an acute healthcare setting preferred.
- Able to troubleshoot, read schematics, and/or blueprints.
- Valid state driver’s license.
- Certified and/or licensed in a specified trade relative to healthcare engineering (e.g., Steam boiler, HVAC).
- High School Diploma or equivalent required.
Schedule
Full Time, Day Shift.
