Key Responsibilities
- Install, troubleshoot, and repair HVAC systems
- Interpret blueprints, schematics, and specifications
- Service and maintain DDC systems (N2 & BACnet)
- Test systems for pressure, vacuum integrity, and refrigerant leaks
- Repair electrical components (breakers, thermostats, wiring, fuses)
- Perform preventative maintenance per regulatory standards
- Maintain refrigerant logs and documentation
- Monitor and maintain chemical treatment levels
- Follow all safety procedures including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO)
- Maintain clean and safe work areas
- Perform additional duties as assigned
Required Qualifications
- Minimum 4 years of HVAC trade experience
- EPA 608 Universal Certification (Required)
- High School Diploma or GED
- Valid driver’s license with insurable record
- Ability to pass drug screening, background check, and obtain NACI clearance
- Ability to read, write, and communicate effectively in English
- All required state, federal, and contract-specific licenses
- Must Hold ONE of the Following Certifications:
- North American Technician Excellence (NATE)
- ESCO Institute HVAC Excellence (Professional Level)
- International Code Council (ICC) Certification
- Documented Journeyman Status (State or National Apprenticeship)
- DD214-documented Level V (or higher) military HVAC training
- 2–3 years of experience in healthcare or critical-care facilities
Pay Range
$33.60 per hour
