Job Summary

Responsibilities

  • Perform preventive maintenance, diagnostics, and repairs on commercial and residential HVAC systems.
  • Service and maintain:
    • Air conditioning systems
    • Heat pumps
    • Gas and oil furnaces
    • Boilers and hydronic heating systems
    • Water heaters (tank and tankless)
    • Ventilation and air distribution systems
  • Troubleshoot electrical, mechanical, airflow, and control-related issues.
  • Inspect equipment and identify opportunities for improved performance, efficiency, and reliability.
  • Complete equipment startups, testing, and operational verification.
  • Maintain accurate service records and maintenance reports.
  • Communicate findings and recommendations clearly with customers and team members.
  • Adhere to all company safety policies, industry standards, and applicable codes.
  • Participate in rotating on-call coverage as needed.

Qualifications

  • HVAC service and maintenance experience preferred.
  • Experience with both commercial and residential systems.
  • Knowledge of:
    • Heat pumps
    • Air conditioning systems
    • Gas and oil heating equipment
    • Boilers and hydronic systems
    • Water heaters
    • HVAC controls and thermostats
  • EPA Certification preferred (limited refrigeration work required).
  • Ability to read wiring diagrams, schematics, and technical manuals.
  • Strong troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.
  • Valid driver's license with an acceptable driving record.

Pay

$25.00 - $32.00 per hour.
