HVAC Maintenance Technician

FMM is seeking a motivated professional to fill our HVAC Maintenance Technician position. FMM is a maintenance and construction company servicing both residential and commercial clients nationwide. Responsibilities

• Responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing HVAC systems for commercial and residential properties.
• Assigned to multiple locations throughout the Greater Baton Rouge Area and must be available for after‑hour emergency calls.
• Perform all preventive maintenance, necessary maintenance, and minor repairs on HVAC systems.
• Conduct periodic general preventative maintenance on HVAC systems, including lubrication, adjustment, cleaning, replacement of consumable parts (filters, indicator lights, etc.) and periodic testing of equipment.
• Prepare and maintain maintenance logs and records; familiarity with preventative maintenance and work order software systems.
• Ensure safety of building occupants and continuous operation.
• Install new HVAC systems in residential and commercial properties, ensuring proper operation and function.
• Install and perform preventative and repair maintenance on generators.
• May perform other duties as assigned.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• HVAC Certification
• EPA Section 608 Certification
• Five (5) years previous experience
• Ability to handle multiple projects and make decisions using FMM's core values of Quality, Teamwork, Pride, Integrity, Safety, and Versatility
• Proficient in computer, text, and email skills
• Must be able to lift up to 15 pounds at a time
• Ability to pass a Fit for Duty Screening
