HVAC Maintenance Technician
About the role
At American Rooter & Drain (ARD), we seek an HVAC Maintenance Technician who can provide reliable, personable, and mechanically adept service to our customers. This role involves performing seasonal maintenance services, conducting thorough system checks, and educating homeowners on the importance of preventive maintenance.
Responsibilities
- Perform seasonal maintenance services on residential heating and cooling systems.
- Conduct thorough system checks to identify early signs of wear or failure.
- Inspect filters, safeties, ductwork, pressures, and temperatures to ensure peak performance.
- Communicate findings and maintenance recommendations to homeowners.
- Educate customers on the value of preventive maintenance plans.
- Set leads for HVAC service and replacements, as well as plumbing inspections needed by the customer.
- Work with professionalism, efficiency, and attention to detail on every visit.
Requirements
- A high school diploma or equivalent.
- A basic understanding of HVAC systems and components is a plus.
- Mechanical aptitude and a strong desire to learn and grow.
- Ability to work well in a team environment and take direction from senior technicians.
- Excellent problem-solving skills, attention to detail, and time management.
- Physical stamina; able to lift heavy equipment and work in various weather conditions.
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record.

Pay
$16.00 - $22.00 per hour based on experience and performance.
Schedule
Rotating 5-day schedule to support service needs: Monday-Friday, 7 AM-7 PM Saturday, 8 AM-5 PM. Closed Sundays to allow team members time to rest and recharge.
