HVAC Maintenance Mechanic

Under the direct supervision of the Facilities Supervisor, you will maintain our facility's environmental systems, assisting with general maintenance, installation, and repairs of expansion units, chilled water fan cool units, refrigeration equipment, and pneumatic/electronic control systems.

Responsibilities

• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair refrigeration equipment using theories and practices of refrigeration systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical components of HVAC systems using theories and practices of electrical systems.
• Maintain, troubleshoot, and repair mechanical aspects of HVAC systems using theories and practices of mechanical systems.
• Repair, maintain, and troubleshoot HVAC systems and building management systems using control theory and practice.
• Troubleshoot and manipulate building automation systems.
• Conduct audits of system performance and make adjustments to maintain efficient operating systems.
• Perform both routine and emergency tasks to ensure a comfortable, safe, and functional environment.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or GED.
• 4-6 years of experience in installation, repair, and maintenance of small and large-capacity commercial HVAC equipment, including air conditioning, evaporative cooling, exhaust, and ventilation equipment.
• Trade school education with specialized training in HVAC (preferred).
• Valid Nebraska Driver’s License.

Pay

$22.51 - $31.79 per hour
