HVAC Installer Helper (Fast Track to Lead Installer)
Job Overview
Alvarez Plumbing & Air Conditioning is seeking motivated HVAC Installer Helpers who are eager to learn the trade and grow quickly within the company. This role is designed for individuals who want more than a typical helper position—you will work alongside experienced Lead Installers and receive hands-on training with the goal of advancing into a Lead Installer role as your skills develop.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist Lead Installers with residential and light commercial HVAC installations
- Learn HVAC installation procedures, safety standards, and industry best practices
- Load, transport, and organize tools, materials, and equipment for each project
- Maintain clean, organized, and professional job sites
- Support installation teams to ensure projects are completed efficiently and correctly
- Interact professionally with customers while on job sites
- Follow safety guidelines and company procedures at all times
- Develop the technical knowledge and installation skills needed to advance into a Lead Installer role
Qualifications
- 1+ year of HVAC installation helper experience preferred
- Strong desire to grow into a Lead Installer role
- Basic HVAC installation tools
- Reliable work ethic and positive attitude
- Ability to work in Florida heat and physically demanding environments
- Team-oriented mindset and willingness to learn
- Valid driver’s license

Work Schedule
- Full-Time
- Monday – Friday
- 8-hour shifts
- Overtime opportunities available
- Occasional weekend or on-call rotations during peak seasons
Work Location
Residential and light commercial job sites throughout the Tampa Bay / Land O’ Lakes, Florida area. Daily travel to local job sites required.
