HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Install heating, ventilation, and cooling units for commercial customers.
• Travel to job sites in service area, and work with dispatch to ensure schedule is maintained and delays are properly communicated to customer.
• Perform required documentation for each install, recording recommendations, repairs, accurate readings, and observations. Have client sign necessary paperwork.
• Able to make ethical and responsible decisions while keeping the customer and our company interests in mind.
• Provide sales personnel with qualified leads and opportunities.

Requirements

• Must possess a valid Tennessee State driver’s license and a safe driving record and be able and willing to operate company-owned vehicles.
• While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to bend, crawl, and sit. May be required to work in restricted spaces.
• Employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 60 pounds and greater than 60 pounds using appropriate equipment.

Skills

• 5-7 years of experience installing HVAC and/or Hydronics.
• Good analytical skills and attention to detail with the ability to read and interpret plans and manuals.
• Excellent customer service skills with desire to exceed customer expectations.
• Ability to work independently in a timely manner, making sure job is done correctly the first time.
• Strong problem solving and communication skills, both oral and written.
