HVAC Installer

Responsibilities

• Install Air conditioning and heating systems in residential and commercial environments in accordance with current codes.
• Analyze, diagnose, and resolve customer problems in a courteous, professional, timely, and accurate manner.
• Identify potential problems to prevent premature and unexpected breakdowns or callbacks.
• Communicate effectively with customers to answer questions, resolve problems, and ensure complete customer satisfaction.
• Promote products and services to customer.
• Produce and maintain organized records and reports.
• Maintain company vehicle in clean and proper working order with an organized inventory of HVAC repair necessities.
• Avoid using company tools improperly and ensure they are accounted for.
• Perform other similar duties as assigned.

Requirements

• Minimum 3 years experience in HVAC installation.
• Driver's license, clean driving record and capability to pass a drug/alcohol test.
• Willing / able to work overtime and on call rotation.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
• Efficient time-management and organizational skills.
• Familiarity with national, state and local HVAC code regulations.
• High school graduate or equivalent.
• Graduate from a trade/vocational school HVAC program or other construction-related program preferred.
• EPA Certification 608 Certification.

Physical Requirements

The physical ability to work in ceilings, crawl spaces, chases and other confined work areas is also required.

Schedule

Pay

$40-45 Per hour DOE

Location

Western Long Island, Westchester County, and 5 Burroughs.
