Responsibilities
- Install residential, manufactured housing, and light commercial HVAC systems
- Perform equipment change-outs, new installations, and system start-ups
- Connect refrigerant lines, gas piping, electrical wiring, ductwork, and ventilation components
- Recover, evacuate, charge, and test refrigerant systems
- Install water heaters and appliances
- Pre-measure jobs and verify materials
- Load and maintain equipment and tools
- Conduct system testing and document readings
- Complete paperwork
- Communicate progress and customer concerns
- Ensure compliance with standards and codes
Requirements
- Minimum 1 year HVAC installation experience
- EPA 608 Certification
- Knowledge of refrigeration, electrical wiring, gas piping, brazing, soldering, sheet metal, and duct installation
- Ability to read specifications and use testing equipment
- Troubleshooting, communication, and customer service skills
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Valid driver’s license
- Willingness to work overtime and participate in on-call rotations
- Medical certification if required
