HVAC Install Manager

Location: Southlake, TX | DFW Metroplex – Full-Time Leadership Role

About the Role

Berkeys Plumbing, A/C & Electrical is seeking an experienced HVAC Install Manager to lead our residential HVAC installation operations. This hands-on leadership position requires deep residential HVAC expertise, a passion for developing teams, and a commitment to driving quality, performance, and customer satisfaction. You’ll oversee HVAC Install, Warranty, and Indoor Air Quality (IAQ) teams, managing day-to-day operations including staffing, scheduling, installation quality, productivity, and department performance.

Responsibilities

• Lead, coach, develop, and hold accountable HVAC Install Leads, Install Helpers, Warranty, and IAQ team members.
• Oversee daily installation operations, crew assignments, workload, scheduling, and department capacity.
• Ensure residential HVAC installations are completed safely, correctly, efficiently, and on time.
• Provide technical and operational support to crews when challenges arise in the field.
• Drive installation quality through jobsite visits, inspections, commissioning standards, coaching, and corrective action.
• Oversee Warranty and IAQ operations, including component replacements, duct cleaning, filtration, UV lights, air purification, and other IAQ solutions.
• Monitor department KPIs: revenue, gross margin, labor efficiency, productivity, callbacks, warranty rates, inspection results, and customer satisfaction.
• Partner with Sales, Dispatch, Warehouse, Permitting, Purchasing, Fleet, Customer Service, and Quality Control to ensure smooth job execution.
• Resolve escalated customer and field concerns while protecting the customer experience and company standards.
• Recruit, onboard, train, and develop HVAC talent, building a strong pipeline of future leaders.

Requirements

• 5+ years of residential HVAC experience in installation, service, maintenance, repair, or a related technical capacity.
• Previous experience leading HVAC technicians, installers, field employees, or residential installation operations (strongly preferred).
• Strong residential HVAC installation and technical knowledge, including airflow, refrigerant systems, electrical components, controls, startup, and commissioning.
• Experience with installation quality, commissioning, refrigerant procedures, job costing, and customer resolution.
• Experience managing Warranty, IAQ, Install Leads, Helpers, or subcontractors (highly preferred).
• Ability to understand and manage KPIs, labor, materials, productivity, and department performance.
• Professional fluency in English and Spanish (preferred).
• EPA Universal Certification (strongly preferred).
• TDLR ACR Technician registration (preferred).
• ServiceTitan experience (strongly preferred).
• Valid driver’s license and acceptable driving record.
