HVAC Equipment Service Tech Tradesman (union)

This opportunity offers the chance to service and maintain the most advanced heavy commercial and industrial equipment in the world. As a trusted advisor to our customers, you will solve comfort, building inefficiency, and other service-related issues while increasing your HVAC knowledge through hands-on experience and factory certification via our Service Technical Academy (STA).

Responsibilities

• Perform mechanical installations and drive results under the direction of the Employer, mentored by peers.
• Complete all assigned work under the labor agreement, limited only by your capabilities as determined by the Employer.
• Troubleshoot and resolve HVAC-related problems.
• Respond to basic warranty calls.
• Keep JCI, contractors, and customers informed of job progress and issues.
• Provide recommendations and solutions to ensure facilities run efficiently, including upselling opportunities.
• Provide quotes to support recommendations and solutions.

Requirements

• Adherence to the company Safety Program.
• High School Diploma or equivalent.
• Familiarity with HVAC equipment.
• Good verbal and written communication skills.
• Self-starter with the ability to work independently.
• Valid driver’s license with no major or frequent traffic violations.
• Willingness to join the UA of Plumbers and Pipefitters.

Pay

$38.99 hourly rate, determined by the Collective Bargaining Agreement (CBA) rate sheet. The posted salary range reflects the target compensation for this role, though exceptional candidates with unique skills may be considered beyond this range.
