HVAC Engineer - (Mobile)

Responsibilities
- Troubleshoot, maintain, repair, and optimize HVAC systems with a primary focus on rooftop units (RTUs), while supporting associated mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
- Perform preventive, corrective, and emergency maintenance; diagnose equipment failures and determine appropriate repair or modification solutions.
- Complete general facility maintenance tasks, including patching, painting, door repairs, and other minor building repairs as needed.
- Coordinate, schedule, and escort vendors and contractors, serving as the on-site point of contact to ensure work is completed safely and efficiently.
- Support critical building infrastructure, including HVAC and generator systems serving IT and other mission-critical spaces, while assisting with change control processes and related documentation.
- Maintain accurate maintenance records, work orders, and operational documentation while ensuring compliance with facility standards and safety requirements.
Requirements
- High School Diploma, GED, or trade school diploma with 4-5 years of job-related experience. In lieu of a diploma, a combination of experience and education will be considered.
- Valid Driver’s License required.
- Meet the physical requirements of this role including stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs/ladders, and the ability to lift/carry heavy loads of 50 lbs. or more.
- Willingness to take a new perspective on existing solutions and apply innovative thinking to your work.
- In-depth knowledge of Microsoft Office products (Word, Excel, Outlook).
- Strong organizational skills with an advanced inquisitive mindset, capable of analyzing and solving mildly complex problems.
- Sophisticated math skills, with the ability to calculate mildly complex figures such as percentages, fractions, and other financial-related calculations.

Pay
The minimum salary for this position is $30.00 per hour and the maximum salary is $35.34 per hour. The compensation offered to a successful candidate will depend on skills, qualifications, and experience.
Schedule
Stable Monday through Friday day shift schedule. There is a possibility of rotating on-call duties to support client needs.
