Essential Duties And Responsibilities
- Support the controls electrician manager, project managers, and accounting team in ensuring accurate billing for completed work and verifying that installation teams adhere to labor and material cost estimates.
- Participate in bid management and other business opportunities that entail significant or unconventional risk.
- Familiarize yourself with job site completion deadlines, coordinate workforce and material needs with Building Intelligence construction or operations manager, project managers, installers, control technicians, customers, and other trades.
- Cookordinate subcontractor’s installation work, enforce quality standards and track work progress to meet deadlines.
- Provide documentation as needed for scheduling, personnel, billing, safety, and job site issues.
- Maintain an elevated level of performance and increases technical knowledge, competencies, and awareness relevant to all business unit activities.
- Remain current and continually increase knowledge on industry and company trends, competitors, regulations, laws, and codes.
Qualifications
- 5+ years of temperature controls installation experience
- OSHA 10-hour certification
- Current state electrical license required
- Ability to travel to multiple job sites and customer offices
- Knowledge of pneumatic, electric, and DDC installations and operations
- Ability to recognize safety hazards and rectify problems
- Outstanding management, interpersonal, customer relations, leadership, communication (written and oral), budget forecasting and computer skills
- Be available for working overtime, varied shift hours, after hours phone availability and out-of-town work
