About the Role
Represents the company by serving as the direct contact, ensuring customer satisfaction by identifying, analyzing, diagnosing, and repairing equipment and systems at the customer’s location.
Responsibilities
- Communicates with customers and their representatives, including building owners, mechanical contractors, other trades, subcontractors, and field support staff.
- Ensures compliance with internal contracting processes.
- Coordinates with account managers, the service department, and customers to precisely understand requirements for on-site programming, installation, and repairs by examining building layouts, forecasting issues, gathering materials, and synchronizing on-site work.
- Demonstrates ability to cope with stress and maintain a pleasant and cooperative temperament with internal and external customers.
- Creates and downloads programming, starts up, performs functional testing, and troubleshoots assigned projects.
- Uses cutting-edge software and technology along with a variety of tools to troubleshoot local controllers, communication wiring, programs, and schedules to identify concerns and determine corrective action.
- Enforces safety to the highest standards.
- Provides technical guidance to diagnose control system concerns and ensure occupancy.
Requirements
- Must be able to pass a background check.
- Advanced written, verbal, customer service, and relationship-building skills.
- High-level organizational skills and strong multitasking abilities.
- Flexible, with a willingness to adapt to change.
- Ability to work well with others both internally and externally, including in stressful situations.
- Computer knowledge.
- Knowledge of the industry is recommended but not required.
- At least 2 years of technical and/or field-related experience.
- Niagara AX building automation systems experience (a huge plus).
- LON and BACNet communications experience (a huge plus).
- Electrical troubleshooting skills.
- Understanding of HVAC and IT systems.

Pay
Salary range: $70,000 to $150,000 per year, depending on qualifications.
