HVAC Adjunct Instructor

Job Duties

• Teaching Responsibilities including hands-on and theory instruction, classroom management, and administrative tasks such as reports, syllabus, and lesson plan development.
• Assess the accomplishment of students on a regular basis.
• Maintain records of student attendance, grades, and progress.
• Instructional Development: Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for the course.
• Work with other areas of the college such as Tutoring, Retention, etc. to help ensure student success.
• Prepare reports in cooperation with Division Dean for input in the planning/reporting system and/or for submission to the accrediting body of the College or program.
• Professional Development: Attend relevant professional meetings.
• Represent the College positively in interactions with the community and with professional and academic groups at the local, state, and national levels.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

• A two-year associate degree and experience working in the HVAC field.
• Teaching experience is preferred.
