Job Responsibilities

Instruction including hands on and theory, classroom management, and administrative tasks that may include reports, syllabus and lesson plan development.

Prepare and/or maintain current course syllabi for course taught.

Ensure that course is taught in accordance with the established syllabi.

Recommend for approval adequate instructional materials for course.

Recommend adequate laboratory facilities/equipment for assigned course.

Supervision of students.

Minimum And Additional Requirements

Associate’s degree in HVAC or a related industrial discipline with five (5) years of direct experience in residential and commercial heating, ventilation, air conditioning and refrigeration.

Knowledge and experience in commercial air conditioning, heating, and refrigeration systems is required.

The applicant must be able to work in a team environment utilizing effective communication skills.

The applicant must also be able to work independently, exercise sound judgment, and be able to develop programs and curricula to meet industry needs.
