Hut Master

Job Responsibilities

• Organize and execute backcountry dinners and handle reservation needs.
• Purchase and transport food, linens, alcohol, and drinks; manage supplies and personnel in variable trail conditions.
• Shovel snow, clear walkways, perform basic hut maintenance (e.g., propane, water, food prep), and conduct generator upkeep.
• Delegate tasks during meals, manage evening cleanup, and handle alcohol sales at events.
• Create memorable backcountry dining experiences, provide excellent customer service, and address guest inquiries and concerns effectively.
• Engage with diverse guests using strong interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Knowledge of safety practices, CPR/first aid certification
• Familiarity with local geography, trails, and conservation principles
• May require lifting and moving up to 75 pounds
